Did you know that Louis Widmer is a totally vegan company which doesn’t test on animals and which doesn’t use any animal ingredient? The ultra good news is that it’s widely available in Belgium, where I live at the moment.

Urtekram, veganism the Danish way

Urtekram is a new line of Danish vegan toiletries easy to find in Europe, particularly here in Belgium and Holland. The company subscribe to ECEA, European Coalition to End Animal Experimentation, Fair Trade standards and guarantees organic ingredients. Urtekram also has a particular line called No Perfume concerned with people’s allergies and asthmatic reactions (a big burden for a lot of people nowadays). Good stuff as I have tried and tested myself. They also produce a line of food and cleaning products .

Green people vegan line (Vegan Society approved)

Green People has a totally vegan line approved by the Vegan Society. They are organic, fairly traded and environmentally aware. Their policy about animal testing is straightforward (companies are rarely so clear):

Green People are and always have been totally opposed to any cruelty to animals.
Since starting the Green People in 1997, we have operated to the following principles: –
We have never carried out or commissioned animal testing of any raw material, cosmetic ingredient or finished product. All Green People products are tested on human volunteers.
We do not and will not use ingredients that have been made by manufacturers who carry out or commission animal testing of cosmetic ingredients.

Try and test it yourself. It’ definitely worth a try!
